XXI. Description of a Murderer

(описание убийцы)

It was at this moment (/именно/ в этот момент), I think (я подумал), that what Poirot called the human element (что /то/, что Пуаро называл человеческим фактором: «элементом») began to fade out of the picture again (начало снова исчезать из картины). That atmosphere of waiting had brought a release of tension (атмосфера ожидания принесла облегчение от напряжения).

But now (но теперь), with the printed words jeering from the white stiff paper (с напечатанными словами, насмехающимися с белой плотной бумаги), the hunt was up once more (охота снова была в разгаре).
