`We are not Vadhagh (мы не вадаги). We are not fighting Nhadragh (мы не воюем с надрагами). I believe you can expect these Mabden to have certain crude battle practices of their own (думаю, ты можешь ожидать = убедился, /что/ эти мабдены имеют свой определенный жестокий военный опыт; practices — практика, тренировка; обычай) …

He was evidently a man who understood the realities (он, видимо, был человеком, который понимал реальные /проблемы/; reality — действительность, реальный условия).

Corum looked at the writing (Корум посмотрел на рукопись). It was well-formed but without any individual character (она была написана правильно, но без какого-либо индивидуального характера/почерка = не давала представления о писавшем; well-formed — /грамматически/ правильно построенный). It seemed to him that it was a somewhat soulless imitation of Vadhagh writing (ему показалось, что она была бездушным копированием вадагского текста; somewhat — отчасти, до некоторой степени), but it was, as she had said, easy enough to understand (но она была, как Ралина сказала, довольно легкой для понимания).
